Bed & Breakfast stays at Wind Dancer Ranch

Half way between Dallas and Texarkana off I-30 and 5 miles outside of Cooper, TX, in Delta County, is our beautiful peaceful Ranch on 21 acres. We have horses and a variety of farm animals and pets. We are less than 10 minutes from Cooper Lake State Park (Doctors Creek Unit), where nature walks, hiking, biking, picnic areas, camping, swimming, fishing, and boating are available. Come destress, commune with nature, yourself, your partner, your child, plants and/or animals! 

Guest accommodations:

Studio cabin with a queen canopy bed and a captains bed with second pullout with organic sheets ( can sleep a family of 4), area to hang clothing, full bathroom with shower with amentities basket (we have a grey water system so special safe and enironmental personal products are included in the price) and hair dryer, book library, beverage center for coffee, tea, water & other complimentary drinks, snacks, table with amenities basket, bedside tables with lamps, ceiling fan, and salt lamp. Reading area, writing desk, heat and ac, front porch. NO TV!  We encourage this stay to be no or low tech!

Amenities at the ranch include:

Good parking, Heat/AC, ceiling fans, large covered back deck with lounging and eating areas, large mature trees, hammocks & chaises, large porch swing under trees, play horse shoes, go for a walk around the farm, or along our country road, bring your bike to ride, bird watch, watch horses graze, play with farm animals, dining area, and breakfast. Participation in farm chores and operations by request. We run a organic, earth sustaining, no plastic, non-toxic safe place to reconnect to yourself, your loved ones, nature, and spirituality.

Other services available include:

Vocation Vaction, Equine Therapy, Women's wellness, Mother and daughter, Wild woman sisterhood, Qi-gong lessons, wellness coaching, Cooking & preserving lessons, jewelry making lessons, gardening, herbal education, laundry service, copier, an evening meal, special event items (such as for a B-day, Anniversary, or Valentine’s), we can also arrange for a Massage therapist to come to the ranch for inside or outside massages, and other services listed on our services page, including Reiki & Reflexology. Please let us know what you are interested in and we will customize your stay! Special dietary concerns- Let us know of any health/dietary concerns or restrictions you have. We favor the Weston A. Price Foundation way of eating. Contact us for pricing on extras.

Breakfast depends on time of year, depending on what is local/organic and in season, and from our garden. We always have coffee, Esspresso, selection of teas. Fresh homemade sourdough breads, spreads, & cheeses are also common, European style. Migas, a Tex-Mex breakfast, is one of our special dishes, made from our fresh eggs and garden veggies, homemade salsa, etc, and is served from 7-10, based on appointment.

Costs: $125.00 night, excluding extra’s, 1 -3 night stays, non-refundable deposit of half your stay to reserve, balance upon check out, plus extra’s. Discounts given with multiple extra services.

Check in and check out times are customizable. You may bring a dog/cat with approval. No smoking, moderate drinking allowed.
